Genetic Species offers over 200 high quality digital sound effects which cover distance samples, weapon samples, explosion samples, hit samples and character digital speech which gives the game that extra atmospheric touch.

Using Martin Blom's AHI Audio system Genetic Species supports all sound cards with the following drivers:

In addition to the `In-Game` sound effects, Simon Ravn was called in to produce 30 Minutes of High Quality atmospheric CD Music along the lines of Vangelis which dramatically enhances the Audio atmosphere of the game for those having the ability to play CD music and sound effects simultaneously.
